The Hardware and Software Requirements of Microsoft Dynamics CRM

All customer relationship manager (CRM) software packages are as good only as the executives who use those, the customers who use it and the people involved. However, it is also true that some software packages are more user friendly than others are; this includes all the CRM applications out there in the market. One can always count Microsoft for providing easy to navigate user interface. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a good example for this. It is one of the most user-friendly CRM software packages around. Those familiar with using Windows operating system and MS Office packages can easily become proficient in using this software application. With Microsoft Outlook integration, you do not have to learn anything new while using Microsoft CRM.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not use up large memory space. It only needs 400 MB. The following are the other hardware requirements of the application. The processor should have a speed of 1.8 Hz or higher. The recommended processor is Dual 1.8 GHz Pentium (Xeon P4). Only 1 GB RAM is needed, but 2 GB is recommended. A network card with a data transferring speed between 10 and 100 mbps is only required, although cards of higher data speeds are recommended.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM runs in almost any server operating systems of Windows. It also needs Internet Information Services and Microsoft Data Access Components, which are usually incorporated with the latest server operating systems of Windows. In the typical Microsoft tradition, the software application also has an excellent Help section, from which the operator can easily find solution to likely functional bottlenecks.
